Field of Discovery
Habiba’s Regenerative Farm is more than a growing space. It is a place where soil is restored, ideas are tested, and people come together to rethink what is possible in the desert. As a regenerative farm in Sinai and a rising research hub, we bring global knowledge to local challenges, focusing on water scarcity, food security, and sustainable farming techniques that can transform arid landscapes across Egypt.
Our team develops soil restoration methods, compost production, mulching systems, and water saving techniques suited for desert climates. Every bed is an active experiment in regenerative agriculture, carbon sequestration, and desert reclamation.
The Regenerative Learning Center works with local and international institutes to test new plant species, study irrigation technologies, monitor soil and water quality, and explore permaculture design in harsh environments. The farm functions as an open air lab where ideas become practical solutions.
What We Do
Our goal is to create a model for regenerative agriculture in Egypt by combining hands on practice, scientific research, and community learning.
- Soil regeneration through compost, organic amendments and microbiology studies
- Water conservation systems adapted to arid environments
- Permaculture design supported by trial plots and field research
- Desert greening projects that test new crops and drought tolerant species
We aim to establish a full biology and microbiology lab dedicated to soil and water analysis, allowing us to respond quickly to climate challenges such as declining soil fertility, new insects and emerging crop diseases. With more than 25 research projects completed, the Regenerative Farm continues to expand partnerships, refine sustainable methods and inspire a new generation of desert farmers in Nuweiba.
