Cultivating Minds

The Habiba Learning Center was founded in 2013 to offer creative, supportive after-school education for Bedouin children in Nuweiba. It’s a place where young learners explore new skills, discover their talents, and enjoy fun, hands-on activities in a safe and inspiring environment. The center is funded by the Palm Foundation as a heartfelt contribution to the Bedouin community whose partnership and trust have shaped Habiba’s journey from the very beginning.

What We Do

At the Habiba Learning Center, we mix Montessori- and Steiner-inspired methods with creative teaching to offer hands-on, practical learning. We nurture life skills like trust, sharing, and confidence alongside core subjects, guiding children toward a hopeful and sustainable future.

Our Local Impact

The Habiba Learning Center fosters positive change by offering caring, hands-on learning that builds confidence and creativity in Bedouin children. Connected to initiatives like the Date Palm Foundation and WOMAD, it supports families with childcare and practical programs that strengthen community resilience beyond traditional tourism.
